So on Monday I couldn't work because I was too sick.
On Tuesday, I climbed up Mt Coolum with Rob and got proposed too :)
On Wednesday, Rob and I had to swap the ring for another because it couldn't be re-sized small enough to fit my finger.... :( .... and get the new one re-sized, which was quite emotionally draining... but I think I am starting to move on now. Although I have to wait till next Wednesday to get my new one, which means that I can't show anyone my ring this weekend at Rob's party, or at church. *sigh*, being patient isn't my strong point.
On Thursday I worked in the babies room... which was good but incredibly tiring.... and lost my signet ring while changing a nappy... yeh, I know, eeeew. I'm pretty sure it came off in my glove when I took it off... now it is probably in a bin full of nappies...What is it with me and rings?
And today, Friday, I worked in the pre-school room. Now my feet and back hurt like crazy, and so does my voice, because I had to yell at the pre-schoolers a number of times. They have no respect for me. *sigh* I am working there next Monday too.
Oh well... I am still rather happy... I am engaged! ;) Yaaaaay! hehe... yeh, it still hasn't kicked in that I have a fiance.
The weekend is going to be big too. Tomorrow night (that is Saturday if you don't know the days of the week), is Rob's 21'st birthday party, and I am going to be at his house all day helping out, and then obviously attending the party. I'm pretty sure I am going to get an early night tonight, I'm so tired and worn out...... but poor Rob has it worse..... he is working from 6:00 to 12:30 tonight :( He isn't exactly going to get a sleep in tomorrow.
Hopefully he can run on adrenalin. OOOOoooo YAY we are announcing our engagement tomorrow night! So excited for that.... it means that I will be able to make it facebook official after the party!
On Sunday, church people will find out, if they haven't found out already, which is going to be fun too! Hmmm only sucky thing about Sunday is that we have a HUGEly long practice for our Christmas Carols, and my voice is still killing me..... Oh, and Rob is working on Sunday night :(

I don't have a boyfriend any more.....
I don't have a boyfriend any more..... I HAVE A FIANCE! I'M ENGAGED!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
So on Sunday Rob told me that he would like to go out with me on Tuesday, to make up for the lost time we have had, because of his new job. So I was like... cool, where should we go? He suggested we go up the coast and walk up Mt Coolum. I was all for it, because we had talked about climbing it soon. A few years ago at Schoolies, I climbed Mt Coolum and I thought it would be nice to do that again. It would be a lovely day with Rob, I thought. SO despite the weather warnings that it would rain.... He persisted with the idea that we climb up the mountain. I thought he was crazy, but we went ahead with it. We had fun climbing the mountain. We got to the top and sat for a while. It was really windy and over cast, but I was enjoying myself. After about 15 minutes... he gave me a hug... and started telling me how much he loves me... I thought it was sweet... then much to my amazement, he got down on one knee and pulled the ring out! He asked me to marry him! I was in tears, and lol I actually asked if he was being serious! It was all so sudden, and I was amazed, as well as really shocked. I still haven't come to terms with it. I no longer have a boyfriend, I have a fiance! We stayed up on the mountain for about 5 more minutes, and then walked down, obviously having a huge chat on the way down. I was still in disbelief! When we got to the bottom, he took me to a nice quiet spot at Noosa, looking out at the water, and beach. We had a picnic lunch .... including some sparkling wine! Then we played around on the beach for a while. It was perfect.
The funny thing was, he had planned this for a while, and I knew that we planned to climb the mountain soon... so I joked about him proposing up the top of it! Lol. I was semi being serious... but I didn't know that he had already planned it. Theeen.... when we were on top of the mountain, I was joking around again.... I was like "Rob, this is the part where you pull the ring out!" I told him I was joking, and that there is really no pressure... I made sure he knew that he could propose when he feels ready, even if I had to wait a while..... Hehe. He must have been loling... about 10 minutes after I joked about it... that is exactly what he did.
I love my Fiance. He is Romantic, gorgeous... and my Best friend!

Sore throats GRRRRRR!
So apparently they found nothing wrong in my throat swab and blood tests.... you'd think that it is a good thing.... but I'm not so sure! How can I have a sore throat for 12 weeks, and there be nothing in the tests? I would rather that they knew what was wrong with me! It seems that no one knows. How can I get rid of something if I don't know what it is? I have practice for our Church Carols program tomorrow night, and I am also on singing on Sunday night.... This is getting urgent. I can't possibly sing right now! Singing is a big part of my life, and this sore throat is ruining it. I am pretty sure I have spent most of this afternoon crying. I'm not one bit happy.

Just because
Rob reminded me today that I haven't blogged in a while. Yes I am slack.
Nothing much is new at the moment. I got a hair cut today... tis mildly exciting (actually I am probably more excited about my hair cut than I should be!) . I also went to the last GB event for the year, this afternoon. It was a GB and BB awards afternoon. It went well also. I'm looking forward to the leaders' break up next Tuesday... Yeah not much to talk about. Uhhhhmmm.... So I have had a sore throat for almost 12 weeks now, which is quite dramatic. I went to the Doctors about a month ago, and the antibiotics that he prescribed didn't work at all. I decided to try some natural treatments like Honey and Lemon drink, spoonfuls of Honey, gargling salt water, gargling baking soda. They all only worked slightly... which has lead me to be quite fed up. Unfortunately I have also grown immune to Betadine throat gargle, and Strepsils make me feel sick. All of the common remedies have failed. So on the Thursday that just went, I ended up going to my doctor again... He took a throat swab, prescribed a blood test... and put me on stronger antibiotics. They are like horse pills, and I have to take them twice a day. They still haven't kicked in! I got my blood test yesterday (Friday) that was interesting. Yehhh,,, so my sore throat is the story of my life right now. I really wish it would go away... I am rostered on to sing at church tomorrow night... and the KBC Christmas production is on the 17th of December, so I am praying that the virus or whatever it is, goes away asap!!
